The most talked-about release in the Distillery’s modern memory, finally bottled at your impassioned request. Drawn straight from American oak bourbon barrels, Ten’s revered peaty paradox is pronounced, with rich aromas of smoke and sea spray giving way to a smooth, natural sweetness.
TASTING NOTES:
Aroma
Deep and smoky with rich earthy notes. Hints of coffee, sea spray and spice rise through the smoke, balanced by softer touches of vanilla and fresh citrus. A splash of water reveals classic Ardbeg character, fennel, bonfire embers and coastal warmth.
Taste
Full-bodied and warming, opening with a surprising burst of sweetness and spice, reminiscent of smoked cinnamon and paprika. Bold waves of peat smoke follow, layered with earthy and woody notes, all balanced by a gentle malty richness.
Finish
Cool and refreshing, with lingering hints of eucalyptus and fresh mint.
